Yesterday we lost our Grandmother Dennick at 10:00am
She was my Great-grandmother, Kaylee's Great-Great-Grandmother
What a blessing to have her in our lives for all these years
What a blessing that my daughter got a chance to be held by her loving arms
I remember a lot about my grandma...
I remember her dog Homer (who I loved)
I remember her teaching me how to make a bed, how to walk/stand with good posture
I remember her making me breakfast, reading the newspaper at 5am, giving me cough syrup
I remember how the bow in her hair always matched her shoes and belt
I remember driving her to Publix once a week after school
I remember her love, her wisdom, her kindness, her humor..
One day, when I was very young, we were riding in the car (she always sat in the back seat with me so I wouldn't be lonely) and I was complaining about how big my feet are. She said "Kimberly, if your feet were any smaller you would fall over!" This stuck with me my whole life, she just had a way of making me feel confident. She was a very classy lady, very loving, and extremely witty.
Of all my grandparents, I have the most memories of her...she will be missed!
Goober.. words can never say what you have said about G-Grandma, as you have said it all. this is an end to an era unfortunately but with you & john (frawley), kenneth & racheal (hardy), your two new additions (kaylee & duncan) will continue the tree, which she was so so proud of. love.. Mom
