Busy body..

I

Kaylee and her puppy

We were blessed about 5 years ago, with a little puppy named Toby.  Little did we know that this little hot dog would become our daughters favorite play-thing.  Here is a video of how Kaylee plays with Toby..

Pumpkin Patch...

We took a trip down to the pumpkin patch the day before Halloween.  Kaylee loved it!  She spent most of her time sorting baby pumpkins, and then counting her piles...

I stole a few moments of her time for a picture (which is a very big deal for a 2 year old)

We picked out a pumpkin and went home to carve it...

Halloween 2010

I drove myself crazy this year, trying to pick the perfect Halloween costume for Kaylee.  John and I finally decided that she would be a bee...cute right?  Well, we bought the costume and, Kaylee hated it!  She cried, and said "no no no bee, off!"  So, I let her try on her costume from last year...

A piggy

So, the toddler won the bee vs. piggy battle.  And Ms. Kaylee was a piggy again this year!

Happy Halloween!!

Lowry Park Zoo

Kaylee and I took a trip to the zoo all by ourselves.  I usually wouldn't attempt a trip of this magnitude on my own...I say magnitude because to Kaylee, the zoo is a magical trip.  She lets me know just how magical these moments are to her like this:

A peek inside an aquarium turns into a high pitched squeal "HI TURTLE!"

A stop on the boardwalk turns into a photo memory that this mama will cherish forever.

And the dingo exhibit turns into a toddler, howling like a dog at the top of her lungs.  All in her tiny baby Kaylee voice , of course!

Hello Blog!

I'm not going to sugar coat this...life is busy right now!  I decided to take on a full load of courses this semester, so my computer has not seen this blog in quite some time!

An update about Kaylee....
Girl is a talker!  She blabs to anybody that will listen (including birds, dogs, and lizards).  She is starting to put together sentences like "Sheep says baaaa.  Cow says mooooo."  also, "Its a ball.  Its a bird."  My favorite sentence of hers is "Its so pretty."  She is a girly girl for sure.

Baby likes to dance...all day!  Kaylee actually has pretty good rythem.  She bounces to the beat, claps her hands and spins in circles.  Her favorite kid song to dance to is Six Little Ducks...and her favorite adult song to dance to is Let it Rock.  Here she is dancing in public...

And a picture to satisfy your craving...

An update from the Frawley house

Well, life has been moving so fast.  Every night when we put our little girl to sleep, John and I talk about how big and smart our baby is getting.  At 18 months, Kaylee is AMAZING!
She is in love with the zoo..

She's a sucker for a good hat...

And, oh how she loves this little boy (me too)

It's still so amazing to watch her change.  I've been amazed since she was born, and I know that will never end.

Some days her attitude might get the best of her (just like mama)

All in all, life is great!  Things don't get much better than this!  Watching her learn, grow, explore, love, cuddle, care, cry, laugh...I'll take it all...any day!

Keep leaping baby girl!

Keep leaping...
